    No. Our farm is our home and we please ask that you respect our privacy

  • Do you offer tours or workshops?

  • What’s your growing season?

    We grow year round, with a harvest window of April through November.

  • Do you sell wholesale or only retail?

    We are mainly wholesale for our fresh flowers. The Flower Shack is our retail fresh flower farm stand. Our dahlia tubers and heirloom chrysanthemum rooted cuttings are retail as well.

  • When do you restock dahlia tubers and rooted mum cuttings?

    We restock our tuber and rooted cutting inventory during the winter months. Join our newsletter to know when the restocks occur. Sign up HERE

  • Do you have a waitlist for out of stock items?

    Yes. Click on the item that you wish to join the waitlist for. Select the size you wish to purchase. A box will appear and will say “Get Notified By Email When This Item Is In Stock.” Add your email to join the waitlist.

  • How do I know when a sale or new collection launches?

  • Can I combine multiple orders to save on shipping?

    No.

  • Can I make changes to my order after it’s placed?

    No.

    No.

🌼 Dahlia Tubers

  • When will my tubers ship?

    All dahlia tuber orders ship in April.

  • Do you guarantee your tubers will grow?

    Yes, all tubers are shipped with viable eye.

  • What does “single tuber with at least one visible eye” mean?

    The tuber has at least one eye which is where the tuber will start growing the dahlia plant from. If there are more than one eye the tuber will produce more than one shoot.

  • How should I store my tubers until planting?

    Store your tubers in a cool dry place.

  • Do you ship to all 50 states?

    No. we do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska.

  • Can I pick up tubers locally?

    No we do not offer local pick ups for dahlia tubers. All tubers are shipped.

  • What happens if my tubers arrive damaged?

    Please send an email with a photo of the damaged tuber to info@goosecreekgardens.com within 24hrs of receiving your tubers.

  • Do you offer any disease testing or certification?

    All of our dahlia tubers are inspected by the USDA PA Department Of Agriculture while growing and while in storage.

  • How can I tell if my tuber is viable before planting?

    Finding an eye on a tuber can be difficult as the tubers are shipped dormant, meaning they are not actively growing. The eyes will swell on the crown of the tuber once the tuber breaks dormancy, usually close to planting season. This timing will differ for each dahlia variety.   • Do you label your tubers by variety?

    Yes all of our tubers arrive in their own bag labeled.

🌻 Heirloom Mum Rooted Cuttings

  • When will my rooted cuttings ship?

    All rooted cutting orders start to ship in April.

  • How are the cuttings packed for shipping?

    Each variety of mums will be labeled in its own bag.

  • Can I combine mum and dahlia orders?

    No.

  • How should I care for my rooted cuttings when they arrive?

  • Will the cuttings bloom the same season I plant them?

    Yes, the cuttings will bloom the first season in the fall.

  • What’s the difference between your heirloom mums and standard garden mums?

    Heirloom mums do not have patents where as many of the garden mums have patents.

  • Do you sell unrooted cuttings?

    No.

  • Can I overwinter mums in my area?

    Yes.
