Welcome to our family farm, Goose Creek Gardens, Ltd.   We specialize in growing cut flowers for the floral industry.  We are a multi-generation family farm with Margie and Mark Dagnal and their daughter Kate Dagnal working together to bring the freshest florals to the Pittsburgh region.

We grow our flowers on a 12-acre farm in the beautiful countryside of Armstrong county, an hour north of Pittsburgh.  On our farm we grow many different varieties of flowers ranging from tulips, ranunculus and anemones in the spring to zinnias, sunflowers, and lisianthus in the summertime, to fall flowers such as dahlias, heirloom chrysanthemums, and ornamental cabbage.  We are able to provide our customers with fresh local flowers from April through November by growing in greenhouses and high tunnels. It brings us great joy to see the smiles on our customers faces when they receive our farm fresh flowers.  We love our flowers, and we know you will too!

Meet the Farmers

Hi, I’m Kate, I am the flower grower of Goose Creek Gardens. I am a wife and mother of 4 girls, choosing to raise my family in the country. From a young age, fresh cut flowers have been a passion of mine and I love seeing the joy that they bring to people. With hard work, long days and dedication, I strive to grow the highest quality flowers for our customers.

This is my mom, Margie, the founder of Goose Creek Gardens. She loves farming and growing almost any type of crop. Together with her husband, (my dad) Mark, they started this farming adventure over 20 years ago, with a dream of owning and running their own business. She comes from a long line of female entrepreneurs and is the 5th generation of female owned businesses in my family.

This is my dad, Mark, who has been around flowers and plants his entire life. His family owned a landscape business and he learned a valuable education and practical lessons working alongside his father. He continued his formal education in horticulture from Penn State University. Mark enjoys working alongside our family helping to build Goose Creek Gardens; our specialty cut flower farm.
