Alexis is a light pink-lavender intermediate incurve-style heirloom chrysanthemum with elegant, full blooms that radiate softness and charm. Highly sought after, this variety is known for its beautiful color, strong stems, and reliable growth habit. Compact to medium in height, Alexis benefits from netting to support its heavy blooms and ensure straight, usable stems.

Bloom Time: Mid October – Late October
Bloom Size: 3–5 inches
Plant Height: 2 ½ – 3 ft
Stem Quality: Strong, sturdy stems; netting recommended
Best Uses: Market bouquets, wholesale orders, wedding work, and fall arrangements

🌱 Growing Notes: May require frost protection depending on your zone. Heirloom chrysanthemums are not winter-hardy in most areas; we recommend treating them as tender perennials in Zones 7a and colder.

💗 Why We Love It
Alexis is one of the most popular mums we grow — and for good reason. Its large, full blooms add volume and beauty to fall market bouquets, and it’s a favorite among our wholesale customers as well. Blooming after frost, it does require protection to keep the flowers pristine, but the effort is worth it. Each plant produces multiple sturdy stems, making it both reliable and abundant. It’s a variety we find ourselves planting more of every season — you can never have too many Alexis mums!

📦 Shipping: April 2026
🌎 Available to: Continental U.S. only (cannot ship to HI or AK)
