Cranberry Wine Heirloom Chrysanthemum Rooted Cutting
SHIPPING APRIL 2026
Cranberry Wine is an early-blooming heirloom chrysanthemum with pink-violet flowers that offer a refreshing break from traditional fall colors. Each plant produces many stems, each topped with a spray of blooms, making it a reliable and abundant choice for cut flower production. Its sturdy stems and moderate height make it perfect for market bouquets and mixed arrangements.
Bloom Time: Late September β Early October
Bloom Size: 2 inches
Plant Height: 2β3 ft
Stem Quality: Strong, sturdy stems ideal for bouquet work; moderate height reduces need for support
Best Uses: A beautiful addition to mixed bouquets, cut flower markets, or transitional fall garden displays
Growing Notes: May require frost protection depending on your zone. Heirloom chrysanthemums are not winter-hardy in most areas; we recommend treating them as tender perennials in Zones 7a and colder.
π Why We Love It
Cranberry Wine is a favorite for our mixed bouquets. Each stem has a generous spray of blooms, and it starts blooming just as the field flowers are finishing, creating a perfect transition into fall blooms. The plant is sturdy, doesnβt grow too tall, and while we net all our mums for support, Cranberry Wine is one we could easily leave un-netted thanks to its strong stems and moderate height.
π¦ Shipping: April 2026
π Available to: Continental U.S. only (cannot ship to HI or AK)
