Daybreak Heirloom Chrysanthemum Rooted Cutting

from $15.50

SHIPPING APRIL 2026

Daybreak is a lovely apricot anemone-style heirloom chrysanthemum. This tall, vigorous plant produces an abundance of strong stems topped with warm apricot-orange blooms, making it a favorite for gardeners and flower farmers alike. A late-season variety, Daybreak benefits from frost protection to ensure its blooms shine through the end of fall.

Bloom Time: Late October – Early November
Bloom Size: 3–4 inches
Plant Height: 3–4 ft
Stem Quality: Tall, strong stems; support recommended
Best Uses: Thanksgiving arrangements, market bouquets, and late-season floral design

🌱 Growing Notes: May require frost protection depending on your zone. Heirloom chrysanthemums are not winter-hardy in most areas; we recommend treating them as tender perennials in Zones 7a and colder.

💛 Why We Love It
Daybreak is one of the very last mums to bloom in our collection, making it an essential variety for extending the harvest season. Its warm apricot-orange tones are perfect for autumn and bring richness to Thanksgiving bouquets and arrangements. While it needs extra care to protect from frost, the effort is worth it—Daybreak provides a beautiful and abundant finale to the growing season.

📦 Shipping: April 2026
🌎 Available to: Continental U.S. only (cannot ship to HI or AK)
