Kermit Heirloom Chrysanthemum Rooted Cutting
SHIPPING APRIL 2026
Kermit is a vibrant yellow-green pompon heirloom chrysanthemum. This vigorous grower produces an abundance of stems, each topped with clusters of cheerful green flowers. While naturally strong, plants benefit from support to keep stems upright and flowers at their best. A standout variety, Kermit is a wonderful addition to any flower farm or home gardener’s mum collection.
Bloom Time: Mid October – Early November
Bloom Size: 1–2 inches
Plant Height: 3 ft
Stem Quality: Strong stems; support recommended
Best Uses: Market bouquets, late-season arrangements, season extension
🌱 Growing Notes: May require frost protection depending on your zone. Heirloom chrysanthemums are not winter-hardy in most areas; we recommend treating them as tender perennials in Zones 7a and colder.
💚 Why We Love It
Kermit has been a Goose Creek Gardens favorite for over ten years. Its bright green blooms always bring something unique to our market bouquets and arrangements, especially in the late season. Blooming after our killing frost, Kermit plays a key role in our season extension program. Though it requires some frost protection, the cheerful green pompons make it worth every bit of effort. We recommend Kermit to any flower farmer looking to brighten up fall harvests and extend their season with something truly special.
📦 Shipping: April 2026
🌎 Available to: Continental U.S. only (cannot ship to HI or AK)
