Samson Heirloom Chrysanthemum Rooted Cutting

from $15.50

SHIPPING APRIL 2026

Samson is a striking deep reddish-purple heirloom chrysanthemum that shines in both the garden and the vase. A sturdy and reliable grower, it produces strong stems topped with clusters of small, vibrant flowers. This variety is an excellent choice for adding bold autumn color to gardens, landscapes, and cut flower production.

Bloom Size: 1-2 inch
Plant Height: 3 ft (approx.)
Bloom Time: Late September – Mid October
Stem Quality: Strong, upright stems with clusters of blooms; support recommended
Best Uses: Market bouquets, fall landscapes, and seasonal arrangements

🌱 Growing Notes: May require frost protection depending on your zone. Heirloom chrysanthemums are not winter-hardy in most areas; we recommend treating them as tender perennials in Zones 7a and colder.

🍂 Why We Love It
Samson is a beautiful early-season mum that delivers both color and abundance just as summer flowers begin to fade. Its clusters of reddish-purple blooms bring a dramatic sparkle to bouquets and garden beds. Because it blooms earlier in the mum season, Samson is perfect for extending the harvest into the early fall months, making it a favorite for both flower farmers and home gardeners.

📦 Shipping: April 2026
🌎 Available to: Continental U.S. only (cannot ship to HI or AK)
